Allowed Values:

  • ICPY (ICC Proximity): ICC contactless proximity
  • MGST (Magnetic Stripe): Magnetic stripe.
  • ICCY (ICC Contact): ICC contact capability
  • MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition): Recognition of magnetic ink characters
  • MLEY (Manual Entry): Manual, no terminal used.
  • OCRR (Optical Character Recognition): OCR either at time of transaction or after the event.
  • MSIP (MSI Proximity): Magstripe image contactless proximity
  • OPTC (Optical Code): Optical coded reading capabilities (e.g. barcode, QR code, etc.)
  • OTHN (Other National): Other national capability type assigned at national level.
